Well, what a thing, looking like Enid Blyton's Noddy had a go at designing Art Deco style we have this charming 1950s loudspeaker. The casing of these was made using arather unusual caesin based polymer which had a rather poor surface finish and was coloured in a rather lurid semi translucent orange, pink or blue hue. This example has been restored with the casing having a very smooth and shiny finish as though an expert car restoration bodyshop had done it. The case carries a very smart black and buttermilk colourway that suits it very well.
A beautiful display item indeed and will go nicely with a round Ekco!
