This radio is offered sold as seen for restoration and repair.
On offer today we have a rather scarce iteration of the miniature solid state Eddystone communications receiver for we have, harking from 1969 an Eddystone EB36A which was a special production model for special purposes such as press monitoring. Indeed, this radio has a history that took in time in the Lebanon apparently.
The radio is in reasonable cosmetic condition, the case and fascia present well and uncasing shows that the loudspeaker is fine, however, closer exammination shows that Mr Bodgy Knobwit and his crazy sister Sally Screwdriver have been to visit and removed IFT1 and broken the former. All parts are present and maybe this IFT can be recovered, however, to help in any form of restoration a Denco 465KHz IFT is included for substitution - between these two, a return to working order should be within the grasp of a competent restorer.
It's a well worth while restoration project because this truly is a scarce receiver with very few having been ever produced.
